- Where does this position fit in the overall organization?
- What is the growth plan of the company?
- Would you describe a typical work day and some of the things I will be doing?
- How many people work in the department? In the company?
- Who are the company’s major competitors?
- What will the training period be like and how long?
- How long should it take me to get my feet on the ground and become productive?
- What will my priorities be?
- Who held this position before?
- What was his/her background and why is he/she being replaced? Did they get promoted in the company?
- How will I get feedback on job performance? How often?
- Could you give me a brief tour? I’d enjoy seeing where your people work?
