• How long has this position been open?
• Where does this position fit in the overall organization?
• What is the growth plan of the company?
• Would you describe a typical work day and some of the things I will be doing?
• How many people work in the department? In the company?
• Who are the company’s major competitors?
• What will the training period be like and how long?
• How long should it take me to get my feet on the ground and become productive?
• What will my priorities be?
• Who held this position before?
• What was his/her background and why is he/she being replaced? Did they get promoted in the company?
• How will I get feedback on job performance? How often?
• Could you give me a brief tour? I’d enjoy seeing where your people work?
